  • Thai foot massage is a wonderfully relaxing and energizing treatment. In this two-day course, you will learn a complete one-hour treatment for the feet and lower legs.

    This course counts as CPD hours and is affiliated with and recognized by the BRCP.

    Many courses offered are just one day long, where you only learn the sequence in parts, with little opportunity to refine the techniques or see how they fit together. Our two-day course gives you the chance to practice what you've learned on the first day, and then return to put it all together with expert supervision and guidance.

    The treatment you will learn lasts one hour and is both effective and stimulating on its own. You can also shorten it to add to the beginning or end of a Thai massage or other types of massage, enhancing the overall experience.

    • Learn a full sequence over two days with ample time between sessions to practice and refine techniques.

    • Day 1 focuses on learning the sequence in structured parts, including oil massage techniques and using the traditional wooden stick.

    • Day 2 offers hands-on refinement, practice, and a final assessment where you’ll give and receive a full treatment.

    • Day 1: Friday, May 8th 2026, 10am-5pm – Introduction & learning sequence

    • Day 2: Friday, June 5th 2026, 10am-2pm – Sequence revision & assessment

    Day 1: Introduction to Thai Foot Massage. Learning full sequence in 5 sections

    • Opening movements and oil massage techniques using your hands

    • Oil massage techniques using wooden stick

    • Dry foot work with wooden stick, covering 23 points on the sole of the foot

    • Oil massage techniques on lower leg and knee. Dry massage techniques on lower legs and feet, through towel

    • Closing movements

    Day 2:

    AM: Revising sequence and practising

    PM: Assessment- giving and receiving a full 1 hour treatment

  • Included in the course:

    • A detailed course manual with step-by-step instructions and photos

    • A foot reflexology chart

    • A traditional Thai massage stick for foot massage

    • CPD hours accredited by the BRCP

    What to bring:

    We will provide oil and wipes to use on the day.

    We would like to ask you to bring 2 medium sized towels for personal use to wrap your feet with on the day. 

  • Thai foot massage is a relatively new practise in Thailand. A group of Thai Masseurs studied reflexology with Chinese, Japanese and Korean reflexologists, and came up with their own system. It has only been practised in Thailand for 8-10 years at the most.

    A bit like Thai Massage, Thai Foot massage is not diagnostic like reflexology, but it does cover all the reflex zones on the feet in each treatment.  There are lots of lovely techniques on the feet, some using oil with hands, and some using a wooden stick. The treatment  also works right up to the knee and covers in-depth massage on the lower legs.
