THE SCHOOL
... provides the highest standard in Thai Yoga Massage training
Founded in 1993 by Kira Balaskas, The School of Thai Yoga Massage was the first in the UK to offer courses in Traditional Thai Yoga Massage. We are an Approved Training Provider to the British Register of Complementary Practitioners (BRCP). Our course is an Approved Training Course to BRCP Practitioner level.
The School is a member of the Thai Healing Alliance International (THAI) and a founder member of the Traditional Thai Yoga Massage Association (TTYMA), which is a member organization of the British Complementary Medicine Association (BCMA).
After qualifying on the Diploma Course, practitioners are accepted onto the THAI list of worldwide practitioners and the Traditional Thai Yoga Massage Practitioners Register.
This school has trained hundreds of students in the UK and worldwide. Many students have become professional practitioners and some have created their own successful schools.
Kira’s book Thai Yoga Massage (Thorsons, 2002) remains one of the best resources for learning or refreshing your knowledge of TYM.
We always provide close supervision and feedback by maintaining a low student-to-teacher ratio in our classes. This ensures plenty of attention for every student.
Everyone is welcome!
