Fascia is the main connective tissue in the body, forming a web around and through all other structures. Fascia gives form and function to muscles, nerves, blood vessels, bones and organs. When working normally, fascia is fluid and moves freely as we move. However, when fascial restrictions they can cause chronic pain. Restrictions develop as a result of injury, surgery, repetitive movements, posture, stress or, for most of us, some combination of these.
Myofascial release is a gentle non-invasive bodywork technique that works deeply into the body to release the fascial restrictions that cause pain, and restores the body to pain-free balance.
