Post graduate courses and workshops

The Post Graduate Courses are regular revision classes for those who need clarification about any aspect of the theoretical or practical training. There are also monthly workshops held on different aspect of Thai Yoga Massage and other related subjects.

Sensing and feeling energy flow - with Nadav Arad -  Saturday 21 November 2009
I recently had the pleasure of receiving a Thai massage from Nadav Arad, who is a very experienced Thai Masseur from Israel . He has felt a strong connection and affinity with Pitchet Boomthye, who was one of Asokanandas first teachers and who, I myself have also had the opportunity to study with many years ago. After studying in depth with Pitchet, Nadav has embodied much of his teachings.
I have invited him to put together a workshop to offer you, as I really felt that he has a wonderful quality and sensitivity in his treatment that could enhance and inspire your treatments. I also feel he has a very different style and way of working to me which could be very interesting to explore for those of you that would like to.

Using oil in Thai massage - Sunday 22 November 2009 
This workshop is designed to show you some techniques to use oil as part of a Thai yoga massage.This can enhance your treatments especially if you are treating people with back, shoulder and neck pain or stiffness. Also how to incorperate it into your treatment. Especially on back, neck and shoulders. Will also include more techniques to work the neck in lying down position at the end of the treatment either with or without oil.

Therapies workshop - Saturday 12 December 2009
This workshop will cover many therapeutic points, exercises and stretches to specifically treat back pain.

Side Position and Pregnancy Weekend - 27/28 Feb 2010
This two day workshop is covering many advanced stretches and techniques applied in Side position plus how to apply a full body massage in pregnancy. (Note: This is same as the material covered on the second of Diploma course weekends)
Cost: £175, Deposit: £100

General Refresher Day - 28 March 2010 & 25 Sept 2010
A chance to practise with supervision and correct or refine your massage techniques.
Cost: £75
