Diploma course - advanced practitioner level

Course overview

This advanced course follows on from the Certificate Course, and is suitable for students who have completed the Certificate Course. The Course consists of 8 lessons (48 training hours).

After completing the course, the student will be asked to practice 15 advanced full body massages, and to return for a final practice examination as well as a short answer theory test.

Syllabus

Lesson 1
Advanced stretches for the feet. Therapeutic points on the feet. Advanced thumbing techniques for leg lines. Practice and tracing the energy line SEN SUMANA.

Lesson 2
Advanced single and double leg stretches. Practice and tracing the energy lines SEN ITTHA / PINGKHALA.

Lesson 3
Advanced techniques for stomach and chest. Extra energy lines on the arms. Practice and tracing the energy lines SEN KALATHARI.

Lesson 4
Advanced techniques in side position. Massage in pregnancy - you will learn a full body massage applied in side position.

Lesson 5
Supervised practice.

Lesson 6
Advanced techniques for the back of the body. Practice and tracing the energy lines SEN SAHATSARANGSI / THAWARI.

Lesson 7
Advanced techniques and stretches in sitting position. Practice and tracing the energy lines SEN LAWUSANG / ULANGKA and SEN NANTHAKRAWAT / KHITCHANNA.

Lesson 8
Assessment day. A chance to practice a full treatment incorporating advanced techniques. Followed by detailed feedback from course tutor.

Venue: Kailash Centre for Oriental Medicine, 7 Newcourt Street, London NW8
(5 mins walk from St Johns Wood underground - Jubilee Line)

The course consists of 8 lessons.
All classes begin at 10 am and finish at 5.15 pm.
